Only the yield is noted by the passerby. Many seeds have been planted already. And once planted, roots grow more gradually and consistently than the ephemeral musings of the probing mind. Observations made in the hammock may stay there forever if not capture well enough. The impedence mismatch between the inspired musing of the correct or incorrect mind and the tablet that remains could explain the reality of ever growing complexity, incompatibility, and lack of stability as the scale of software grows.
