Half a decade passes and the carrots still grow. The servers still hum. The 200 OKs are still returned. Everything is fine in the countryside. And he still doesn't care about twitter or X or threads or whatever flavor of the week. More generally, most people don't feel the need to post things on the internet. But there are now headlines of AI ministers in charge of states or AI generals in charge of the battlefield. The training data available to the decision making apparatus is skewed towards representing a vocal minority. There are several AI researchers and philosophers that have identified a unique lack of signal stemming from this non-vocal majority. As such, they advocate for individuals to write. Share your thoughts. Be represented by choice. Opt into "voting". What a bastardized way to vote. How insulting that I am required to leave the countryside. Old man yells at clouds. Surely that will change minds on the internet ;)
